Alexander and Gavin Lang started business in 1861.

In 1876 they bought Burnfoot, later to be renamed Glengoyne distillery. And as the owners of the distillery Glengoyne have always been the backbone of the Lang’s blends.

Fron 1996 to 2003 owned by Edrington, then sold to it’s current owner Ian Macleod.
