Not sure what the different numbers indicate.
Same mark seen with the exception that it says “Castle Associates”.

Not much info to find on the company, just a few jugs and decorative figurines on a search.
Castle Wynd is located in Edinburgh so it’s likely this is a local Scottish maker.

PDM
2008 ->
This mark has been in use at Wade factories since Wade PDM was disclosed in 2007.
PDM as used by Wade is an acronym for “Production – Distribution – Marketing”.
Portmeirion
1960 ->
Portmeirion dates back to 1960 as a successor of Kirkham pottery.
One of the most common marks to find, starting ca. 1970.
The early circular mark is usually found in either green or red, independent of glaze colour. I assume the colour on these marks, like earlier marks, are related to factory location. I have found 1 jug with a much smaller black circular mark.
From 1980 and with the introduction of the late type round mark it looks like this factory identification was abandoned, as I’ve only seen this and the later square mark in red.
PDM as used by Wade is an acronym for “Production – Distribution – Marketing”. Wade PDM Ltd was formed in 1969 to deal with these aspects of the business in what would be a more efficient and economical way for the four factories combined.
Wade PDM is registered as dissolved on 31/12/2007. Other divisions of Wade are still operative.
Wade RegiCor
1957 - 1966
1967 - 1970
Can be found in green, red, yellow and black colour. Some sources claim this indicates different factory plants.
Wade RegiCor was established in 1956-57 by a merger of the four companies A.J. Wade / George Wade & Son Ltd / Wade, Heath & Co Ltd / Wade Ulster Ltd.
After 1970 production continues under the Wade PDM branding.
