Invergordon Distillers was founded in 1959. The building of the distillery started in 1961.

From 1993 it has been owned and operated by Whyte & Mackay and is the main contributor in all W&M blends.

It operates 3 continuous Coffey stills producing a new make of 94,4% ABV with a capacity of 36 million liters pr year.

The 10 Year Old official bottling was put on the market in 1990, but discontinued only a couple of years later.
