Robert Graham was the Treasurer of Glasgow and started his business in 1874. By 1920 they had 20 newsagents and tobacco stores in Glasgow.

The company was family owned up until  2002 and operated as a tobacco and cigar specialist. After being sold in 2002 they started selling whisky again and an on-line shop was created in 2007.
