Glenfarclas

Brand info:

GlenfarclasLogo

Glenfarclas was granted it’s first distilling licence in 1836, issued to Robert Hay.

When Hay died in 1865 the distillery was bought by his neighbor; John Grant, for £512.

Six generations on it is still owned by the Grant family.

Glenfarclas is one of very few distilleries that still use direct fired stills.
