A short lived blend on the base of Blair Athol malt, mainly aimed at the Italian market.
Launched around 1973 by then newly appointed director of Bell’s; Raymond Miguel. Although owned by Bell’s it was marketed as made by “Athol Distillers Ltd”. It has not been bottled after Guinness’ takeover of Bell’s in 1985.
The brand name, like Blair Athol distillery is today owned by Diageo.
